This year, my family and I have been exploring the Shubenacadie Waterway with the Shubenacadie Canal Commission– in so many different ways! A good way to start is with one of their History Hikes – a MUST for your 2023 bucket list, if you haven’t already done it. The hikes normally happen on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They start back up in May ,and Family Fun Halifax usually advertises these on their calendar.
